Apart from the rotating domes that were dizzying, it was a great experience. I had never used such powerful telescopes before. Will go again when the skies are clearer!

September 2013  Alan Turin exhibition at the Science Museum. Went to the small but fascinating and informative collection of facts, machines and secrets about the history of Enigma and how it was developed. The effort and dedication of those at Bletchley Park and their life changing stories were impressive.

October 2012  Lecture by Jim Al-khalili on Paradoxes. Complex material explained so well. A great example of successful communication of science, despite the abstract nature of the concepts he explained.  Jim Al-Khalili
