About MyScielog

The blog is a collection of articles about aspects of science which interest and inspire me. I aim to demonstrate to readers that science is relevant, exciting and without boundaries – be that in terms of what science can achieve or who can enjoy it.

I am an A Level student intending to study Natural Sciences at Uni. The blog shows that the sciences together are as interesting and important as they are separately.

The blog is divided into several sections by the tabs at the top of this page.

  • The Home Page is my account of visits, lectures and reading that have interested me.
  • The Nuffield Diary gives a day-by-day account of my four week research project at the University of Portsmouth. This section also includes my final report from the research and the associated presentation.
  • The Events Diary is a short summary of the interesting events and activities I have taken part in.
  • The Academic Lectures Diary is a list of all the lectures I have attended over recent years.
